Starry night

I shot this frame last night in my favorite stargazing field. This is a thirty-second time exposure with a bit of added lighting... The constellation Auriga, the Charioteer, with the bright star Capella, the sixth-brightest star in the sky, is rising over the structure and a meteor is making it's way through the Earth's atmosphere, at left.

A quick iPhone pic of PeeDee the Pirate while shooting the ECU/UCF game today in Greenville. ECU pulled it off. Good to see all the photogs at the game that I haven't seen in what seems like forever.  Good game.  The rain stayed away until the very last part.  yea...

Here's a shot from the dance floor during the reunion in Owensboro. After it was over,  several of us stayed up until 4 a.m. rehashing old memories.  A great time in Kentucky - a beautiful state. Until next time...

Hitting the road

It's travel time again and I'm putting on the driving gloves for a trip home to Kentucky.   I'll be attending my 25th-year high school reunion where I hope to see many of my fellow Panthers of the Daviess County High School class of 1984.  Of course I won't forget to indulge in some Moonlite BBQ and I'll probably pass by Gabe's Tower several times (it's in pretty sad shape, these days) while I'm out and about.  Click here for the Moto Blog, or click on the image above to follow the adventure.
